Not creepy at all! I would be more than happy to answer your question.
First off I want to say that I chose FIT first and foremost because of it’s amazing location in Manhattan. Their campus may be small but the city surrounding it sure isn’t. And I think going to any school in NYC is already a great opportunity.
As for the Illustration program, I absolutely loved it. I mean as with any school there will always be a plus side and a down side but for the most part there really isn’t a downside. The professors are amazing, and last I heard there have been a couple new amazing additions to the Illustration faculty. The program is really great and does a wonderful job of teaching you about the world of illustration and preparing you for a career in that field. The first year will mostly be core classes, like figure drawing that will eventually pave way into classes that will allow you a bit more creative freedom in you work making. For me personally I enjoyed my junior and senior year the most because some of my favorite classes, like the Mentorship class, Oil and Egg tempera painting classes, and also classes that focus on building your portfolio.(Most of these classes are named differently though).
I hope this answered your question and wasn’t too long. If you want to know anything else please don’t hesitate to ask!
So I have been thinking about doing a print giveaway. I have so many amazing followers and I want to somehow give back to them and do something nice. If only I could send all of you a print, but well I can’t afford that.
But is that something that would interest people? And if I did what print(s) should I make? It would likely be between these 3:
Cradled Life, Kabbalah Hands, and Between the Birches.
